tbh pogba at 100mil has killed the market

the market will self correct within two years, clubs are not going to spend 150 mil on Milinkovic because he is hyped. They will find an similar talent, pay less and move out.

the only good side of this is clubs retaining their players longer with prohibitive prices.

I don’t think it will correct itself

I think we can all be happy when signings like Dembele, Coutinho, Neymar and even Mbappe don’t have the impact the price tag would suggest. It might turn clubs away from dropping ludicrous fees on players to then turn around and not improve. I know the jury is still out on all of these signings and they can easily be amazing signings over time but in the short term, not one of them did a damn thing for any of the clubs they went to in reference to their attached price tags.*

*please understand this does not mean ANY or EVERY one of those players I mentioned are not top players, they are but they cost above top dollar and the clubs did not improve at all.

Then in the next tier, which was the previous top tier we have signings like Lukaku, Morata, most of City etc. Just premier league clubs that are flush with money splashing it around with reckless abandon. These are the moves that really *bleep* the market if you ask me because this is where most clubs operate.

Juve is probably the best opponent he can get playing for Lazio. In the second match he didn't play well, in the first match i honestly don't remember.

So yes we can say SERGEJ hasn't proved anything but as a Lazio player i think he has completed his tasks. Now it's time to reach the next level and i don't believe he will flop. Fast like that Juve, Barca, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea... all big clubs that can welcome him with open arms, just not at any cost. Lotito & Tare are deluded if they expect 100m, i've said that multiple times, but this should not be an argument to downgrade the player.

World Cup + next season will give us a definitive answer.

juve wasting 90mil on scrubs like higuain is as much to blame. at least the others do something in the champions lge

His 5 goals in the CL were massive this season. He definitely wasn’t at his best versus Real

Last season, he was our best player in the league. Our MVP and the only reason we retained the league. His CL campaign wasn’t as good but he did score an important brace in the CL semi final away to Monaco.

I think with the state of the sport, he’s comfortably a top 5 #9 in the world. Not sure if that’s good or bad
