Ozil makes such a difference man. Hope we offer him a 400k p/w contract

Rafa masterclass tonight IMO. Don't even want to anyone but Joselu beyond the halfway line. Need CIty to drop 2 points.

Think Burnley might be a bogey team for us now. We look really lethargic against them. Pretty shite and even match IMO. nothing being created.
Liking the reemergence of Phil Jones this season though, looking like an English prime Bonucci

So why is Monreal off?
Injured already again?
Or was the general consensus that one goal and 2 assists is enough for one game?

I picked the wrong game to watch in Burnely-United. Looks like an unexciting 0-0.

0-0 will be a good result for manure if they can hold out.rincon wrote:I picked the wrong game to watch in Burnely-United. Looks like an unexciting 0-0.

It does. Already resigned to dropping points unless the team comes out drastically different. Could also see a cheeky late goal from Burnley and a loss. Either way we look poor.
Alexis can't come soon enough.

Martial needs to get more effective. Lukaku is locked down by Burnley. Pogba hasn't been great. Mata and Lingard look like they can make it happen but only show up in flashes.
A change in gameplan and a sub are needed to change things.

Burnley getting a lot of chances now though, we're fortunate to be winning tbh. Hardly an inspiring performance.

pogba needs to pass the ball to the forwards, he keeps trying to take the shot and it instantly gets blocked.... Maritial and lukaku were both open

Re: BREXIT Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 7
Huge win from Utd today, great performance by the lads vs a tough opponent
José once again spot on with his tactics, sitting deep as to not allow Burnley to counter, and after the 1:0 lead, when creativity was not needed anymore, tightening up vs Burnley's threat in the air with Fellaini coming on for Mata.
Both the manager and the players handled this tough fixture, and in the players case the ball too, magnificently.

You guys wasted no less than an entire minute taking a corner. Bombing forward and time wasting aren't mutually exclusive lol
Didn't end up time wasting much more than that incident though as United were under immense pressure.
