Both of you are going to get burnt out on Nier’s initial repetitiveness before you get to the part where the story picks up (third playthrough). You read it here first RG: I suggest starting on Persona or Yakuza 0 instead of Nier.

I played a few hours of the Titanfall 2 campaign the other day and it really made me wonder why there was so little hype surrounding it. The little I’ve played of the game has been great fun. I bought the game for super cheap from the double discount sale in PS store, but I would’ve gladly paid full price for a game of this quality. The controls are super smooth and fully customizable, as expected by Infinity Ward’s former development duo. The campaign seems great, and it’s a lot of fun to mow down enemy troopers using the different robot weapon setups. Would’ve bought Titanfall 2 when it came out if I’d known it was this good. Anyone know why it flopped commercially, despite receiving so much praise by practically everyone who has played it?

EA's fault though, releasing it between Battlefield and CoD was one of the most moronic decisions i have seen.

If they released it in January something after the FPS hype died down i guarantee loads more would have bought it.

Myself included.

Titanfall 2 is the best FPS of this gen when you consider SP+MP plus no *bleep* lootbox BS and lots of free updates

Me and Jonathan were laughed at when we hyped it. Not surprised at how good it was as the original Infinity Ward made it.

Wow, I wholeheartedly disagree on your opinions regarding Ubisoft. They may have been an underrated game publisher 10 years ago, but ever since they hit it big, they've done everything in their power to make the game industry worse. How many of their games have you guys actually played, outside of their flagships in Assassin's Creed and Far Cry? Ubisoft were genuinely struggling quite recently, not only because they oversaturated the market with largely under-developed, open-world games, and that doesn't even include their decision to opt for peer to peer servers in games that rely heavily on connectivity, their contribution towards pushing micro-transaction culture forward, or their general philosophy of style over substance. If the majority of consumers shared your contentedness regarding the quality of their games, then AC: Origins likely would've been a FIFA-quality improvement over it's predecessors. Might as well argue that EA and FIFA are underrated, at this points lol. "They still make enjoyable games". That's the most horrible excuse I've ever heard, and it can be applied to any triple A publisher, but to each their own opinion

Read my comment again If people hadn't complained about the quality of the last few instalments in the AC series, then Origins would've been released last year. But hey, clearly I'm just one of those haters who underrate Ubisoft. Maybe they would've been able to create an even better game with less development time Maybe the game would've been better if it had been an online multiplayer? That would've been a masterstroke on the part of the ironically named, U-B-soft  I swear, they must be pulling some Illuminati shit to convince people that they're an underrated publisher ffs

What makes no sense? Ubisoft's practices are just as disgusting as that of EA. It's one thing to condone their practices, but to claim that they're an underrated publisher is completely puzzling to me.
