I think we will field an unchanged team.

Sturridge, Solanke, Ings should be considered over Origi.

More strikers than midfielders.

What would a 4231 of

Hendo and can holding the midfield and our next three of Salah, Bobby in the middle and mane lead by Solanke be like.

Honestly I don't see why Klopp doesn't try out the 4-2-3-1 especially when he used it to such great success in his days of glory with Dortmund, AND it much better fits our team. It would allow Henderson, Wijnaldum and Can to fill in those more defensive, economical roles in the middle that require more running than on the ball ability and would take the creative burden off the midfield by allowing our 10 to act as that link to the attack while also being attacking themselves. Firmino flourished as a 10 in Germany (though honestly, he'd be excellent anywhere that man is just a phenomenal footballer), and it also allows us to better utilize guys like Sturridge, Origi and Solanke. It would probably mean more games for guys like Kent and Woodburn also.

Just IMO.

I hope we try it, I think the 4 3 3 , fits our forward line only and doesn't complement our midfield and defensive players. Whilst a 4231 would be good for everyone.

He didn't play enough with Hull or Liverpool during pre season.
He had fitness issues at Hull last year as well.

Lovren has been absolutely dire. Mignolet is single handedly keeping us in the game.

Mane the only outfield player shining. This team will barely get out of the group if we don't get a CB and CM.

Great result, absolutely poor performance, not sure what taa was doing for the goal, didn't they teach you in under 9's to play the whistle. Would of prefered 2-0 but this should do, mig saves us hard, even though that was a shit pen.

Jammy win, Hugely lucky.

Hoffenheim were miles better. Kramaric with one of the worst penalties i've seen.

ATA with a great goal, But he is to blame for their goal. Play to the whistle kid. Milner's goal was also technically not correct plus a deflection.

Mignolet kept us in the game, I counted what 5 saves other than the penalty save?

The entire back 4 was god awful.

Mane best outfield player.

2 away goals can rarely be bad.

My problem is how wasteful in front of goal we still are, should of had more, on days where we get limited chances we need to bury them.

With a fit Sturridge, Ings or Solanke; we should try 4231 more often:

Both played very well. Wijnaldum was up there with Firmino as our best player on the night.
