Unlimited photo storage should really make some of my Apple friends sit up and take notice of this phone.

#1 complaint from them about iPhones is they never have enough storage space. Apple will probably be forced to offer this now if Pixel ends up actually giving them a run for their money, I would imagine.

Apparently the camera is ranked as the best ever on a smartphone as well....although that seems a little sensational to me.

Pricing here in DE/EU seems to be 759 base for 32GB. 869 for 128GB, but with unlimited backup for photos and videos in original quality (they had another potshot at Apple with a iP pop-up space warning ) makes me wonder if 32 would already be a sufficient option.

They also took a dig at Pixels having 'no uncomfortable camera bump'

With Amazon Echo launching in EU around now, it would have been really smart to get Home off the blocks quickly.

Alexa only works in German if I order in DE. No option to change language.

Lol. Its ridiculous the useless hype the pixels are getting. I mean, a phone that's almost $1,000 while offering considerable less than the competition. No wireless charging, no water resistance, no dual ff speakers, no ois, big bezels, probably one of the ugliest flagship designs of all time.. I lost all hope for DXO mark a long time ago, so saying the pixel the best camera of all time is completely crazy tbh. Infact isn't the timing of their rating suspicious to you guys?

The only thing google has going for it is the google assistance that's probably thesame as google now and fast updates. Yet have the balls to charge apple prices. Yes iphones are *bleep* expensive but they at least have the brand name, cult following and the fact that the IOS is exclusive and top notch to cover tim cooks ass

All top Apple apps are on Android.

Theres bare bones to differentiate on the specs side. Would be interesting to see how many of the Pixel screens crack at the first fall (did someone mention amazeing design and build quality? Lol) or how many batteries start exploding - but sure, let us ignore these things.

Design is subjective - beauty in the eye of the beholder as the saying goes.

There are many features in Pixel that you have conveniently forgotten to list above. For me this phone is not about the hardware, it is about what the software brings to the table to leverage that hardware.

Unless conclusive benchmarks are conducted, it is rather hard to rate iPhone7 or Pixel. All we have now is previews and the first hands on reviews. But sure, let's jump the gun and start hating it already.

Or better still, lets all go spend on brand name, cult following and the fact that the IOS is exclusive - amazing reasons to spend 1k$.
