Terrible absolutely terrible defending. Carvajal, Varane, the whole midfield. I don't have an appropriate word to describe them

Getting Llorente backs seems alot more like a no brainer now

Still early in the season to draw up any conclusions

Casemiro missed and not signing a back up DM is clearly haunting us now

Superb stuff and can't really complain with the results. We were idiots for actually doubting the football played last few weeks despite the results.

On a serious note, please, I don't want to hear any excuses this time. This draw defeat is inexcusable and I hope nobody will have the nerve to defend Z or the players for this disastrous result.

Next step: Dortmund. God have mercy on us.

Very unfortunate.

Better we suffer this now than later. At the same time, I expected better though.

the only bright spot was morata...
zz was d flop of dis match..how dare u put 4 forwards in a match against a very attacking team in the absense of casemiro..4 players who like to just run and run with the ball rather than locating their teammates..asensio was d worst player..very horrible.always ahead of d attackers, running like a freaking headless chicken, no defensive workrate..hardly dropped back....just horrible stuff

I also dont see how the first half was good..m
it was just a reflection of how horrible we are as a team, always giving wrong final or semi final passes because you dont understand where your player will run next, because you have no freaking strategy

this team has an inferiority complex and don't seem to be motivated when they are in control,  dey prefer chasing the match and chasing the league

we wanted attacking football but this was just the attacking equivalent of the other rubbish we have been playing all season..

am sad and disgusted
I get no joy from watching this team, in victory,  draws and defeat, its just d same

It's all part of ZIdane's tactic to deceptively create space down the middle and then to solve everything with Lucas Vasquez deadly cross from the right.

Bale was absolutely torching their left back every time they were in 1v1, i dont know why we did not set him up more often, he won that duel 100% when he had the chance.

Another example of poor coaching, there is such a thing as putting your best player in the best positions to win. Playing "better" also refers to creating those situations.

oh well

@Nick, that pic just confirms how bad Asensio was. Really disappointed in his lack of discipline and effort. He looked like he couldnt give a fak out there

Not to sound too idealistic, but if your team crumbles to the ground in the absence of one man, you don't have a good team to begin with.

And if I may add one thing, even in the presence of Case, we didn't look that good either.

I don't think it's the "man" per say just the position. We lacked a DM out there hence our complete breakdown in defence. At least with Casemiro it was harder to score against us. Without him or a recognised DM we become porous at the back.
