Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Turan wasn't used at all today, rumors the coach doesn't like him and will be sold to Galatasaray. Hope that rumor is true.
Douglas, Munir and Vermalean are all on the axe list as well.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Such a small minded club... trashing Neymar because he triggered his release clause. And now delaying sending the paperwork until the last second (have 15 days) so Neymar misses games.
Not saying that fans are small minded... just the current executives. You guys need to get rid of these guys that act as if Barca is some provincial club and the world is against them. That story ended 15 years ago. Time to have executives that act and talk as if they are on top of the world.

Unlike Barca's hit and miss sources, This is something you could trust.

If you guys stop acting stuck up with the 222m you've got and make a bid above 100m, You'll get Coutinho in no time.

That is a dick move by Barca, but keep in mind, Neymar knew he will trigger the release clause very early this summer, but decided to make things hell for Barca and wait up so his daddy gets another 26 mills. Now this late in the transfer window when everyone knows Barca has tons of € prices are inflated even further and we are basically in panic mode all because Neymars ill intent. Why would Barca make things easier for him?

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Why would he walk away from 26 million? It's business. Even in my world... you don't look for a job just before your annual bonus. You wait to get the bonus and then you leave your company. Common sense.
There's a difference between making a common sense move in terms of business and just being petty just for the sake of it.
Bale and Suarez didn't exactly make life easy on the Spurs and Liverpool either. Same with Barca when they triggered Ronaldinho's clause on PSG.
Not to mention Barca putting pressure on Verratti and Silva to rebel against their club (PSG) and force a move.
So much hypocrisy by Barca.

Found this below in some FB thread regarding this issue:
Barca have nothing to do with this anymore. The club actually refused to get involved with La Liga's stalling, and accepted the payment directly, sending Neymar on his way. La Liga president Tebas (no friend of Barcelona, and that's putting it mildly) is being his usual scumbag self - and will probably delay things until the last second.

Ah... so La Liga blaming Barca and lying. Makes sense. Sorry for all previous comments if true.
Spanish LFP are an absolute disaster from top to bottom.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
I really do not know what is true. Neymar did not part in best of ways with Barca and he was unethical if you are being fair (he arranged everything with PSG way earlier and just waited, and that is not really a gentlemanly conduct), but I personally do not blame him.
If Barca think he did all those stuff and was just lying to everyone although the agreement with PSG was made months ago, I would not blame the board to have a similar revenge on him.

I would be content with such transfers.
Yes amidst all the rumors these three seem to be our main targets.

True but when you try such tactics you must understand every aspect of it thoroughly. It seems that there are certain clauses due to which Neymar's father will not receive the mentioned amount from Barca.

One could make the argument that Neymar earned his 26 loyalty bonus by actually playing for you and delivering

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Looks like the money from Neymar's transfer will be wholly spent to bring Dembélé and Coutinho to Barcelona.
None of these players are world class. You'd hope Barcelona would spend this money to bring a top player to replace Neymar, someone like Hazard. But no, let's just sign whoever is hot on the media radar for a lot of money, as they have done in the past few years.
It just seems that neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid can attract top players any more.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
No idea about Dembele, but Coutinho is a solid player. I wouldn't mind him at all, just not as a Neymar replacement.
Also Hazard is ridiculously overrated, definition of a luxury player.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
lol yeah I do not see a huge gap in quality between Coutinho and Hazard. I'm sorry Dany but your comments are a result of bias which is understandable nevertheless.
Not sure about Dembele, probably too expensive, but I've not seen much of him. I do not have many names that could fill in Neymar's shoes though.
Probably Griezmann would be up there.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
You're signing a poor man's di María for €100m and you're calling a player who has played consistently well for years in EPL overrated?
For me, the only player who could fill Neymar's position is Hazard. And for a riskier option I would have gone with Gabriel Jesus but as usual Barcelona are too late for the party. Should have signed that guy a year ago.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Hazard is better than Dembele but Hazards weakness is his scoring, the talent is there but not the end product

This is what we have been hearing since last week. BTW, so it is now apparently okay and worth getting excited for other players to rebel against their clubs and force an exit? But when it's done to us then it becomes a sacrilege? Lol, The hypocrisy is strong in this one. Good lord (anyway, this isn't targeted at you, as i never heard you condemn neymar, but to the Club and millions of hypocrites and fans out there crying victim. As if they aren't worse of as evidenced by the excitement generated during the veratti saga, and this coutinho transfer). Bunch of hypocrites.
