Define "fixed the aiming issue". The way I see it, there are tons of flaws to the aiming in OW, but it's not going to bother someone who's more accustomed to playing.. Civilization, for instance It seems to me that the devs just didn't care about the minor details of aiming on console, as long as it was functional enough.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. If you think the aiming controls are ever going to be as smooth as on PC, well that won't ever happen. What do you want them to do exactly?

It's a Blizzard game, clearly optimized for PC.

I don't see what they can really do to improve them, it's not like it's a traditional FPS. The aiming is alright.

No console game is ever going to have the precision that's achievable with a PC mouse. What I want them to do is look into the possible improvements that are mentioned in the second post when you enter that link you just posted. If they also add a wider range of sensitivity options, that would be perfect. But like you say, it's optimized for PC, it's already good enough for players who aren't very picky or needy when it comes to these things, and so I'd be happy if they could at the very least achieve Far Cry- like aiming on console. I don't know what you mean by saying that it's not a traditional FPS game? Surely, aiming and shooting is still a fundamental part of how the game plays out. It works, but it's not very well optimized.

OW has sold a shit ton of copies, I'd need to fact check but I recall reading that console players outnumber PC players, so you would think that they would work on console optimization a little better.

I don't think you should expect cod level aiming but Blizzard clearly has decide to skimp on aiming in console OW and hasn't really corrected any of it (except a bit now). This is even more unacceptable than on PC considering console users were forced to pay $60.

I don't play many FPS's traditionally and I don't even know what a deadzone is, but I have noticed it's pretty clunky and the input lag is embarrassingly bad.

I don't have too much of a problem with it anyway because I still really enjoy the game and I'm not hardcore fps (now or in the past) enough to care too much, but it IS kinda bad and it's certainly unacceptable by Blizzard

dling now, still waiting on a delivery ffs, it's almost 7PM. Says it's coming before 9. Don't want to play Comp and have to leave for 2 mins and lose the match.
