Re: The Bundesliga Thread
If things remain as they are at the moment, Werder is out of Relegation. I cant help but feel a bit for the Schalke fans, there team should not be sitting at the bottom with 0 points. Still a half left though.
I will change my Werder for the league enthusiasm and bring it down to " not get relegated" enthusiasm.
Yesterdays game showed me two things.
1. They came into the game with the right attitude.
2, When falling behind, they did not fold.
It showed me a bunch of other things as well, like Werder have some good young guys, who try hard, but they dont have a great team or VW look terrible or why is Kuba captain, he has only been there for a year? or Horn is a good young defender or Gnarby and Manneh never stopped running ...
That first big loss vs Bayern, killed the team spirit. This is a good positive and I feel much better about relegation...at lest until next week.

If Schalke loses this match as well then surely sack is coming for Weinzierl?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Hm. Dunno. Markus Weinzierl was a coach that they desperately wanted at Schalke and considering that they finally got him, they will likely give him some more time and rather rake the players over the coals for a change.

Handsome Bruno places second in the sack race. Replaced by the guy Hoff fired last year.

Meh. Today they took RWO's all-time record for most successful newly promoted team with the 6th unbeaten match.

THe pink shirts look done, Ibisivic scores from the spot.
Bremen comeback short lived and for some reason I cant help but think Hoff will throw away their two goal lead

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Koln could have dome the league a favour and beaten the pig farmers. Werder also could have won their game at the end
