You can watch him play on whoscored like the rest of us imo https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1090854/Live/Germany-Bundesliga-2016-2017-Wolfsburg-Borussia-Dortmund

I tend to be hard on keepers, so I am going to say Draxler or Gomez should have scored, but yeah, well done by Burki.
I am probably most impressed by Castro ( though everyone including Gotze are playing well) from the team, I remember him as being a useful, average, type player, but in the last two seasons he has improved to a very good, above average player

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I am still going to say this even though Werder have allowed a goal. I would have taken them in last man standing had I known about the coaching change before I picked bayern in Last Man Standing ( Can you change a pick before kick off?).

Muller & Lewa with really bad of a game & missing sitters.
Ribery with a good goal n Robben returning from injury as a late sub & getting a goal on return, what a legend!
1 Week to Athletico Madrid!

Yes, you can change your pick before kick-off (or rather before the deadline).

The Pretenders pull off a late win. So do the Pig Farmers and I still dont understand Hertha.

Looks like we'll see another year of mediocrity from Hamburg only to be saved at the last minute. A year in 2. Bundesliga would do them well I think.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
If things remain as they are at the moment, Werder is out of Relegation. I cant help but feel a bit for the Schalke fans, there team should not be sitting at the bottom with 0 points. Still a half left though.
I will change my Werder for the league enthusiasm and bring it down to " not get relegated" enthusiasm.
Yesterdays game showed me two things.
1. They came into the game with the right attitude.
2, When falling behind, they did not fold.
It showed me a bunch of other things as well, like Werder have some good young guys, who try hard, but they dont have a great team or VW look terrible or why is Kuba captain, he has only been there for a year? or Horn is a good young defender or Gnarby and Manneh never stopped running ...
That first big loss vs Bayern, killed the team spirit. This is a good positive and I feel much better about relegation...at lest until next week.
