Sanchez ghost Golden Ball?

Reminds me of Zidane of WC06, no-one writing against it in the media, yet no-one knows why they won it? 0 MoM and didn't even finish the final. Messi puts one of the best performances in World Cup and Copa America history and gets everybody and their frogs gangbangin at him. Why is that?

Completely fine with it going to a Chile player, it makes sense to reward the team that won. Who wants to be most valuable player of a losing team? I like the NBA finals in that respect.

For me, Messi last night played the very best game I've seen from him in any final for both Argentina/Barcelona. The penalty miss was also not as decisive as people think in my opinion, it was a missed opportunity but far from definitive.

But as for Sanchez receiving the award. I would rather Bravo or Vargas.

Vargas had 2 MoM performances, and played almost all the final, would have been easily the better choice if you had to choose from "team performance".

No arguments here. The Sanchez award is a little confusing, I don't think he had a bad tournament but Vidal/Vargas were more decisive

Did Messi get the award maybe and turn it down like he did last season?

Either way, I see the logic with a Chile player getting the award, but I agree it shouldn't of been Sanchez. Vargas or Bravo should of got the nod imo

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I stayed up all night thinking about this very serious and life-threatening problem: Messi not winning the CA golden ball.

I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I could barely breathe. And how could I? There's this footballer who's richer than god and more famous than all the US presidents combined who didn't receive a brass football. Why? Why is everybody against him?

I was shocked to my very core, because, it's not like I have a life of my own or anything. No, Messi is more important than anything and he needs that trophy.
