Well that was fun. I like to think Klinsmann has a plan but right now he looks clueless and no doubt the defensive issues are still clear as day for the world to exploit.

Don't kid yourself. Columbia started coasting after that early goal and just making sure to not screw up and take whatever chances they can get.

First time I've heard of a team doing that. If you said they're playing defensively I would agree. I didn't say we were outplaying them, I said they aren't outplaying us, and have they at any point this game? Credit to them, they got the corner goal and managed to get a penalty out of Yedlin being an idiot, but Colombia have been unable to create anything of note just as much as the US.

The good news is that Bedoya looked pretty good in midfield. He was the only one who honestly did. Nagbe needs to get some starts. Pulisic isn't quite there yet, but even at this point the kid needs to get more minutes. This side is not far off from the WC 2014 side and that's a problem at this point. Not enough new faces in the Starting XI.

It's not all doom and gloom though, but we have to get out of our group.

Too true. It's not over yet but I don't see USMNT strolling over Costa Rica now. I'm thinking if things go the way they have been going then we may as well kiss this Copa goodbye at the group stage.
