Was more impressed by neymar, pique and messi. Those guys showed some serious balls, even a man down. Just hope this isn't neymars last season even if i know everyone wants him gone. Goat player (though strangely very unlucky in recent months), even still, had 31 goals and 24 assists. Anyways congrats guys.

Probably. but if something works everytime you will keep repeating it. Neymar doesnt deserve so much criticsm. His speed is insane its impossible to catch him without fouling. Problem is his decision making.
In this match he did what a great player could do. Doing more than that is impossible against such a difficult team

I thought Neymar was decent and grew in the match. He was able to put Messi into good scoring positions at least twice and Messi squandered those chances. He stepped it up when we needed him to and that's all you can ask of him.

Overall it was a tough match and I wasn't terribly impressed with the team. Masche is always a red danger and it's only through incompetence of our transfer department that he still starts for us. Banega was my MOTM until his red, and even that was the correct decision (who would want to leave Neymar 1 on 1 with the keeper in the box?).

I agree with BC, I wasnt terrible impressed with us. Sevilla were trying to Atletico us, but they aren't Atletico. I think we still haven't got back into our best form but we ruffed it out.

Mascherano the eternal red card waiting to happen, and it happened in such a big match.

Anyways, super happy with the cup double! Going to be a tuff facing them again in the Super Copa (or maybe not; Banega will be gone).

FYI, Banega is a player I've always liked. Instead of getting Turan I would of been happy with Banega instead. I feel he fits our style better. I know we were linked with him in the past when he was still with Valencia, but he kept getting in trouble off the pitch and I think that's a reason we turned away. Anyways, best of luck to him at Inter next season

I found it interesting that Turan is hardly used. Even in a Copa game as this when we needed a player that could help the attack but also defends due to being down a man, he still decided to leave him on the bench and bring on Rafinha and Sergi instead. I wonder if this means he realizes Turan is a useless purchase and that this match signals the end of his time in blaugrana. Does this mean Turan is the one who leaves to make room for for D.Suarez next season?

the way i looked at it was that he brought on rafinha for suarez because we needed a midfield who could also play forward.

during the game you'd see rafinha in the striker position, winger, and CM / RB position rakitic usually does

sergi roberto was brought on for alba if i'm not mistaken, let alone in the dying minutes hardly played a role.

turan usually gets subbed in for iniesta whom played the full game.

Turan has played right wing though, the midfield and all that. He's pretty much the same player Rafinha is in allot of ways. But is also very hyper defensive and allegedly to some posters, is a good offense player. But Lucho has still picked Rafinha since he returned from his injury over Turan. Also picked Sergi to play left back over Adriano. I think says allot as to who Lucho sees for his team and who might leave

idk about turan leaving, it'd be great but i see it unlikely idk why, our board seems stubborn.

turan had one or two games at the wing, early on and was not as effective towards the end he was more or less strictly iniesta's replacement, i believe when rakitic was suspended or injured sergi roberto played in his position?? i may be wrong though.

adriano is only in the team for emergency situations, i think he played more CM this season than LB

it's been clear that mathieu is our backup role for LB
sergi roberto third in LB, third option after vidal in RB (when vidal is included in the team), a backup CDM, and 3rd option CM with rafinha and turan out ranking him in that spot.

since the beginning enrique has been pretty consistent, he'll give people chances over others despite many disagreeing
like how he gave that Gumbau kid chances over samper, and now with rafinha (whom he probably favors since he's coached him since youth + celta and now in barca)
