He was doing well at juve then turned into a scrub after the move. Pogba was the same. Looks like juve knew how to get the best out of them.

No offende but people keep talking about his time st juve as if he was an outstanding CF for them but he could not even beat mandzukixnoutnof the line up. You guys need to calma. Whatever potential or talent he has is not coming through in games he plays.

Unique never even saw him at Juve. He's just parroting opinions. Lad is clueless about anything outside of the Premier League, and even that is a stretch.

Like you say, only Juve fans spoke of Morata fondly because he scored some big goals for them, he wasn't even a starter.

In fairness Premier League is the only league that actually exists so it's understandable.

Klopp won't sign him. Dude is not the type of CF that excels in his system.

We already have Origi who is very similar to Morata. Tall, quick, good on the ball, i.e. not your traditional Andy Carroll Benteke type big man.

And while he likes Origi, Firmino is favored to him.

Liking anyone over Origi is expected. Little to do with play styles, more to with level of play.

I don't disagree with what Nick and any of you have said, but here's my perspective.

He did develop at Juve, much improved from the player we had a couple of years ago. He is a good impact sub, both at Juve and Madrid and for that matter on Spanish NT. But he is not a top notch striker nor should be considered a starter. Nick is right, if Benz was always playing at his supposed level, we wouldn't even be discussing this. Morata is several levels below Benz (when he does show up to play) and he is not a kid anymore.

For some reason, Zidane has insisted on playing Benz despite his form and has not given the minutes expected by Morata. That is the issue and why likely he will leave. The issue is why has Zidane lost confidence in him? and a more secondary question is why doesn't Morata recognize that he isn't a starter and even if he moves he could well be in same situation elsewhere.

It's very obvious that Madrid intends to bring in at least one striker this summer, maybe even two. I think Morata will go and it's a big question whether Benz will leave or be asked to leave. My own opinion is he should go, but even if he does, that really doesn't change Morata's decision. It's actually the same type of situation with Isco. They both want reassurances from Zidane on how much playing time they will get and He really can't give them the answer they want to hear. So I'm assuming both will depart. I definitely don't want Isco gone and with Morata, if he could settle into the sub role, be confident, he should stay, but I doubt it.

As to where he will go, the reports were definite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal?

Benz' form has picked up a lot in the past month btw. So I think that Morata's chance has passed... he had a chance too.

No it hasn't Sports, we were bitching about him last week and the week before. His form has either been very lacking or sporadic. That being said, Morata is definitely couple levels below Benzema unless your name is Hala (:

You guys were bitching about him... i thought, and i mentioned, that his movement had picked up a lot and scoring usually catches up to that once his rhythm hits. I just kind of stayed away from knee jerk. With some players, you look at signs as opposed to production first. He's one of those guys.

As I said earlier, whether Benz remains or is replaced, Morata's role and minutes at Madrid will remain the same!

The FA cup and EL inclusion was more so to show how we've been competing in every contest throughout the season, our schedule has basically been 2 games a week, while you've mostly had just the 1. And you're still only a couple points above us after playing 2 extra games

can easily see Everton finishing above you come the end of the season tbh
