Nah - injury updates are also out.

Nobody returning in near future.

Elneny is happening as long as permit is worked out.

It's the weekend almost, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's only announced late next week.

It's a different scenario tho, when Afobe was here. He was behind RVP,Chamack,Gervinho, Theo then when RVP left he was behind Giroud, Chamack, Gervinho, Podolski and Theo. He also had his injury problems. The guy needed game time to grow not the odd game here and there. We are talking about week in week out so he can gain experience and grow as a player. He wasn't going to it here, I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Akpom.

I mean, Sanogo was afforded chances when Afobe was sent on loan.

The chances Sanogo was given, clearly, would have been better used on Afobe regardless of whether he would have proven good enough for us.

What they can talk about is the fact that he called the idea of joining Barcelona/Real Madrid "mouthwatering" in 2014 but that he had "unfinished business" with us still.

Granted, that was shortly before signing a new deal, back to back FA Cups, Alexis and Cech joining so perspective may be different, especially if we win the league this year.

But I don't like players having an eye on the door.
