How highly do you rate Angel Di Maria?

I also dont get why people rate skills higher than physical fitness sometimes. I mean cmon robben may be a bit more technical with the ball and better attacker overall but hes never available for hes mates when they need him the most. For me Di maria>>>Robben.

Ozil isnt a winger, but he plays pretty damn well at the RW

Yeah Ribery doesnt really play like a pure winger mainly cuz he dint have the blistering pace(he's still quick though) he once had but he still spends most of the time on the flanks and he has simply added more to his Gameplay with his Playmaking skills and he is passing the ball more often than just beat the defender with his pace and dribbling.

Similar to Ronaldinho at Milan under Leo but not to such a big extent as Dinho had totally lost his pace.

Nevertheless he is still a winger and the best one at that..

Also Robben has got nothing on Di Maria..Maybe even Mueller will do a better job than him at RW.

Di Maria isn't playing as a pure Winger lol, maybe if he was on the left and could maximize his dribbling skillset, but right now no chance.

He does alot more than pure wingers, mainly he is capable of a fantastic through ball which almost always comes from a central area on the pitch.He also dosen't get past his man as frequently or productively as Valencia or Bale do.

I'd quicker group him with the group of Robben and Ribery than theone with pure wingers.

angel di maria is a FINE, FINE player... he is a kind of a playmaker as Le Samourai pointed out so ya he is not an out and out winger, but he is a good player, sometimes a bit inconsistent

what a goal on his comeback, respect son.

He's scored a good few crackers from that angle at the Bernabeu. Glad to see him back in action.

i do have to say di maria and robben are the best at scoring goals from that angle.

Hopefully it was just a minor knock at the end. It was encouraging to see him walking it off.

di maria is beast tho not overrated at all imo, he has his faults but maybe in a season or two he is gonna be a real corner stone in the team with ozil ,benz and ramos if all goes well
