To be fair, nobody said Coman was bad, just that his transfer fee was high.

tbh  some ( included me ) said Bayern haven't made a good deal , but  I said it because I believed Coman  was paid not on loan + option but 15 cash... indeed he was signed on loan with option ..but anyway , considering how he is playing, it's not relevant how he was signed. Because he is performing very well under Guardiola

Nobody said he's shit, but it's a fact many on here were scratching their heads why Bayern would be after him and suggested we payed too much (2 year loan for 5m, after that option for another 20m), just as most were scratching their head when we bought Costa and suggested we overpayed (30m).

Both, Costa especially, have been excellent so far.

For me, it's simply another reason not to in any way trust my own, or that other internet fans, judgement over that of our board.

People judge on what they see. In the few games Coman started for Juve, he would run with the ball, cut inside and then pass it back. Fact of the matter is, no coach gives their wingers as much creative freedom as Pep does at Bayern. Your whole playing style is built around getting your wingers on 1 vs 1 situations against the opponent's fullbacks.

^ Spot on , my skeptical opinion was based on what I saw in Juve,because I followed Serie A and he had showed nothing to justify this expenditure. He is showing now indeed

Yeah. One cold see the raw talent he had but he simply did not do much at Juve to justify the high transfer fee Bayern paid for him. Good to see a manager utlizing his talents.

Yea, I was watching Bayern, Barcelona and Chelsea game, so can't so 100%, but from what I saw while looking at all three he was good and played the full 90 minutes.

Not really news that many fans can't spot talent. Most people just judge a players talent by how good he performs which is why they get surprised that often.
Btw not saying I knew he would come good or anything. I'm not 100% sure but I think I've never seen Coman play before he joined Bayern.

Why have an opinion at all when you haven't seen a player.

Scouts CAN judge a player who's played little lol, GL posters can't.

Always been a huge KINGsley Coman fan since he played with US Sénart-Moissy glad he is converting in a GOAT player never had doubts about it

He's obviously talented, and it helps playing for such a stacked team given the freedom he has. I can tell you he sure as hell wouldn't be doing that even if it was Juve playing a 4-3-3.

It wasn't that Coman wasn't good enough for Juventus, it was that Juventus was not good enough for Coman. Not surprised he's doing well with Bayern
