Reus imo. But if Griezmann maintains current form throughout the entire season then I might lean towards him.

Griezmann proves himself in GOAT Liga, the toughest league in history. Reus plays in Bundesfodder where Firmino was averaging as many dribbles as Messi. Easy decision IMO.

Was Dortmund's best player in their CL run to the final and got 20 goals and 20 assists the year after despite always being injured and so far this season he's been fantastic.

Seems entirely legit, i like Griezmann but in general he isn't in a healthy Reus league. He's another one of these " wingers " who do more in the box than they do outside of it.

Reus general play shits all over him from a great height, it's not like Reus doesn't score either. Taking out last year as he only played 20 games and the entire of Dortmund was shite anyway. He has scored 21, 19, 23 in the other 3 seasons since and has 6 so far.

If anything he's underrated now due to injury and the fact Dortmund were bad last year, 100 goals for Dortmund and Gladbach in around 230 games, plus untold assists and his general play is far superior to most in his position. Plus he's better than 1 in 2 in CL play.

Anyone else doing what he does would be hyped a lot more.

Not to mention Reus' far superior work-rate and defensive capabilities. The guy is an A on both ends. One of the best players in the world in my opinion.

Tough. Reus is better, but he can't stay healthy. So I am going to go with Griezmann.

Griezmann is the flavor of the moment. He's playing very well right now with both NT and club. However Reus is stil the better player imo but he needs to stays fit this year + during Euro and BVB will get a big offer from Chelsea or Liverpool ...

Reus is better at everything except actually playing, because he's always injured.
So Griezman. Until Reus switches physicians.

This is classic GL, giving opinion on player's abilities in a 3 game span and change it every other week. First Silva was the best playmaker in the PL and one of the most underrated and never talked about players and now he's overrated and ghosts in big games.

Now overrated is a bit strong but he does ghost in big games, at least in the CL anyway. He is still one of the best playmakers in the PL though, the two are not mutually exclusive lol.

Also Silva is constantly talked about so i dunno quite know where you are coming from there.

Griez v Reus is a good comparison as they're both wing strikers.  Silva is a AM playing on the wing... so he shouldn't be compared to those two.

As far as who's better...  I would have said Reus until last year.  But after Griezmann netted 22 La Liga goals last season and is well in his way this season, i don't know.  He's a little guy so you tend to overlook him...  Reus "looks" like a better better player because he's stronger and more physical.  But when you watch games of both nowadays, there's no difference to me.

As far as assists go...  when Reus had Lewandowski, he made a lot of assists.  But since he's been asked to carry the primary scoring load, he isn't.  Griezmann has had to carry the scoring load for Atleti the past season and will again this one, so his assist opportunities will be limited.

Griezmann isn't even a debate. Reus is better in every single aspect. Literally everything.

Not really, he's better at pretty much everything outside of the box. The reason Reus is so highly rated by most is because of his all round abilities, his passing, dribbling, close control, explosion in tight space or with space in front of him.

I can name more, he's nothing like Griezmann and the idea the only difference is that he's stronger is hilarious to me.

I am not sure how you can compare

Reus with the things you saw him doing in CL with dortmund the past three years with what Griezmann is doing. Sure in football nothing is set in stone and the level of players change all the time but there should not even be a comparison, if not to say that Griezmann is making tremendous strides.

As far as abilities, Reus is far more complete as player than Griezmann, just as Mole is describing.

Reus did nothing last year....  you guys are basing your opinion on 2-3 years ago.  Last year, Griezmann was clearly better than Reus and he's still better now.  Not even close in fact.  Griezmann was elite while Reus was completely average.

Last year was the first year where Reus was acting as the lead scorer for Dortmund and he pretty clearly failed.

2014-2015
Reus: 27 starts, 11 goals and 6 assists all comps
Griezmann: 37 starts, 25 goals and 2 assists all comps

yes he is, but personally i dont care since he yet to reach the same peak as Reus. Besides, Reus whenever he plays is still the best player in his team, so even if Griezmann is the new flavour of the day, the difference even now is ridiculously thin
