Dan Crowley has joined Oxford United on loan. They'll be playing in League 1 this season.

Hopefully he won't be sent back before January this time.

Julio Pleguezuelo has joined Mallorca on loan - his first loan spell since joining the club.

So far we have Dan Crowley at Oxford, Jon Toral at Granada and now Pleggy at Mallorca. I'd expect the likes of Zelalem, Gnabry, Jeff and Akpom will be loaned out eventually, too.

Gnabry back in the squad, then.

Just think it's a joke that Campbell did far more than Theo and Ox last year yet finds himself unwanted while the other two continue to get chances. Fair enough if he doesn't think Campbell's good enough, but what does that say about the other two?

Along with Bellerin and Iwobi he was something of a shining light last season in terms of a breakthrough season and now this...

Squillacci free signing incoming.

In all seriousness, hope he does go out before he ruins his career not making the squad as our 5th choice CB or something. Can't believe we paid 16m quid for him.

Jack Wilshere is playing in a testimonial game for Bournemouth against AC Milan.

No streams though by the looks of things.

There's like a description of Jack's performance there. Couldn't find any quality highlights of his games on YT.

Eddie Howe says Jack Wilshere is not taking part in full training in order to keep him fit.

Shades of Ledley King here, who never trained due injury problems, but always performed in matches. Maybe this is the way to go with Wilshere. hmm

I think we did something like this with Özil for a short period of time, just not with Wilshere surprisingly.

Howe's specific phrasing was that he was on a special training regime atm because they're trying to find the right balance with him.

Meanwhile Karanka's been talking up Calum Chambers and his ability to play in multiple positions, which doesn't sound hugely encouraging tbh. Game time is game time but we'd rather he play consistently in one position.

Games to look out for this weekend:

Wilshere - Bournemouth vs West Brom, Sat (15:00)
Chambers - Middlesbrough vs Crystal Palace, Sat (15:00)
Crowley - Oxford vs Swindon, Sat (15:00)
Toral - Granada vs Eibar, Sun (17:15)
Campbell - Sporting vs Moreirense, Sat (18:15)
Asano - Stuttgart vs Heindenheim, Fri (17:30)
