Just wasn't into it and don't like forcefully watching stuff. Heard it improved though so good for the people who stuck to it.

I thought about quitting too but episode 6 was quite good. Imo you should give it another try, keeps getting better progressively. It's ending tomorrow.

Vinyl, a new drama series from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, debuts in 2016 on HBO.

Looking forward to this.

Scorsese making a TV show? Interesting

Can already see it's a HBO show with the drugs, alcohol and sex.

Thought the guy was doing a banderas.png in the opening scene Laughing And there is that wolf on the wallstreet-esque scene later on.

Scorsese and Jagger are executive producers. Terrence Winter is the show creator. Boardwalk Empire was the same, Winter was the show creator and Scorsese was an executive producer. Scorsese had a lot of influence on Boardwalk, he had creative input, directed the pilot and basically set the tone for the series.

I'll watch Fear The Walking Dead if I hear it's good. Quite a few new shows I'm probably gonna end up watching this following TV year. Mr Robot, Fear The Walking Dead, Escobar show on Netflix, Jessica Jones, Vinyl, Preacher.

October 12.

@m99

doesn't seem my type man. I don't like Coen's style at all.

Might still give it a go though

Killjoys is pretty decent so far. Interesting concept and it's probably what matters most. Probably too much sci-fi for my liking but still does the job.

Training Day, the morally unsettling cop thriller from 2001, is getting a TV reboot. Unlike a majority of big-to-small screen adaptations, this not only has the blessing of original director Antoine Fuqua but his involvement as well. Warner Bros. Television is overseeing the show with Fuqua and Jerry Bruckheimer on board to co-produce.

Fuqua, who brought the concept to Warner, is expected to direct the pilot episode, written by Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall. The story follows a similar path as the movie, in which Ethan Hawke starred as a rookie cop on a 24-hour "training day" with Denzel Washington, a veteran playing fast and loose with the law.

The show takes places 15 years after the events of the movie in present day Los Angeles - and it might switch the races of the two main characters. Either way, it's unlikely that the series will depict the same quantity of graphic violence and general naughtiness as the film. Warner plans to land the show a home on one of the 'Big 4' broadcast networks.
