Still think Arsenal are missing a couple, but it will be a lot closer than last year. Mainly because Wenger won't spend half a year mucking around with systems and players.

Impressed with Arsenal very good defensive performance in the second half. Coquelin was great but he could have caused a goal after he dwelled on the ball for too long instead of just sending it up to Giroud. Chelsea have Courtois to thank for the score line

We completely dominated possession in that game. I was actually shocked at how poor Arsenal were. Also surprised Wenger resorted to parking the bus for the entire 2nd half, since when did he become a pragmatist lol?

Hazard and Ramires both should've scored. But Arsenal could've put the game to bed when we were chasing it late on. All in all a pretty even pre-season game. Wouldn't read too much into it.

Arsenal players look so much fitter than ours after starting pre-season 2 weeks earlier. Still have the game against Fiorentina to prepare for Swansea.
