Obviously Mou is part of the problem, but seriously this Man U squad is pretty average. Should they be losing to Brighton with the talent they have? absolutely not. But this is a squad that will have trouble finishing in the top 4 with the talent they have.

The only team that have improved notably since then is Pool. Spurs signed literally nobody. There's no way we should be regressing from last season outside of managerial problems IMO. We weren't overachieving last season, that's for sure.

Even though Man United played rather dire throughout last season. If it were not for City being a steamroller, I am sure united would’ve won the title- they played classic Mourinho football, except lacked all the charisma of his past teams during his second season. But I feel that’s the thing with mourinho’s United compared to his two Chelsea’s, Madrid, inter, and Porto.
