I'm not exactly sure but if I'm not mistaken in the case of Arsenal and the other season tickets it paints a slightly less stark picture if you look at the fine print.

I had the discussion with a match going Arsenal fan once and he pointed out something like the Arsenal season ticket includes cup games and stuff like that. Not that he was happy about the prices mind you. I can't remember exactly.

As I said I'm not sure but I could imagine that one number doesn't tell the whole story.

I was just in Turkey for a vacation, and my hote was next to the Beskitas stadium.

Walking to the hotel one night, apparently there was a match ad the Beskitas crowd were so loud and thunderous, I actually felt the stadium shake from their singing.
