Re: NFL Thread Part 2
kudos, Rodgers putting together an immaculate season stats wise, even though Mahomes is a better overall player, i wouldnt be mad at all if Rodgers gets MVP because of his numbers.
Green Bay will still need to convince me in the playoffs though. Saints looking good too.

In what world is Mahomes a better overall player lol.
Give Rodgers the same coach and skill players and he’d dominate even more.
Rodgers is the clear cut MVP

Gracias, he is the MVP once again. I hate watching football but he makes it such a joy to watch.
Said that NFC belongs to the Pack and guess what? NFC belongs to the Pack lmao
Hope we don't roll over in the playoffs, but this is a good Packers team.
EDIT: Although it really hurts that Bakhtiari is out for the season ffs

Brady second ever QB to not get Pro Bowl nod with 40TDs
I could see Tampa going all the way tbh. Saints might be out if Kamara isn’t rdy for this weekend.
Chiefs are giant favourites though

Wouldn't mind Rodgers winning. Still find it disrespectful how he's talked about by some media and fans. They prop up Mahomes as if we've not seen the stuff he's doing before.
Rodgers has done it for a decade and he's the modern day efficiency GOAT. Modern day being after Manning and Brady revolutionized how the game was played after their record seasons.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
You got 5/6, nice
I hesitated to back the Browns here because they lacked their head coach. Turns out it wasn't necessary and Steelers were able to beat themselves. Started the game with a failed snap, would you believe maybe i am too much of a novice, but the coach going for a 2-pt conversion made no sense. What's the difference in trailing by 17 or by 18 ? Even worse, they went for 1-pt kick the following touchdown ??
Saints, Bucs, Bills no surprise there
Didn't expect the Titans to lose, respect to Ravens defense who neutralized Henry the best running back in the league

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
17 is a three-score game of two one-point conversion touchdowns and a field goal
18 can also be but that requires one more two-point conversion touchdown
when to take a two-point conversion all comes down to context of the game, the coaching stuff and their philosophies/premonitions/superstitions
TBH Ravens - Titans was the one i had most hesitation towards when predicting. I went Titans because of my disrespect for Lamar Jackson as a QB

That Titans punt on fourth and two late in the game was such a BS decision.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Forgot that one... coach lost his lucidity i think... or he didn't look at the clock
You have the best RB in the league, ran for 2k yards this season, and you don't trust him for a mere 2 yard run, essential to stay alive wtf
And yes it makes more sense now El G, what bugged me is why he didn't go for it the following touchdown to compensate. But they were down by 13 i think, so it made little difference at that point. Anyways that game wasn't lost to coaching but to bad preparation.

so why were people at the start of the season saying Rodgers doesn't have any help in this team?
it looks like a really well-oiled machine. Superbowl bound definitely.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
I would have to re read the posts but I don't think any of us said the current team is trash. They had question marks coming into the season given the way we got handled last postseason despite our good record, that's for sure. But the team is good.
But the question of whether rodgers was carrying past Packers teams? Oh yeah, those teams were garbage and we always made the playoffs because Rodgers is arguably the GOAT

The difference now is McCarthy and Dom Capers fucked off MLF actually knows what he's doing. We actually have a running game now, too.

nope people all over the media said how they fucked up the draft when they got another QB and they didn't get Rodgers enough help
cant recall if people in this thread also said smthing similar

was it just me out of all of the twittersphere that thinks a headlock is a dangerous play?? it wasn't an aggressive hit but come on a headlock going down to the ground is not nice at all
stupid playcall in the first place when Mahomes was already limping
but yea very glad it didn't end for him like that, NFL gotta make sure he plays next week, can't miss out on Rodgers v Mahomes

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Bills were my underdogs this season. Their QB is great and he's surrounded by quality players.
Learned a bit about their history, let's just say it is not very glorious. Lose 4 straight superbowls, after that did not win a playoff game for 25 years and served as punching bag for Patriots since then
Bills vs Buccaneers final, then Tom Brady will break Bills fans dreams one last time.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
did i miss something.. since when did Buffalo become unbeatable kings of the NFL last time i checked Chiefs are still favourites and they beat them at Buffalo in snow earlier this season
I love the Bills too, they've been my underdogs too along with Cardinals from the NFC. But if Mahomes is a hundred percent, they should be beating them. I've watched almost every competitive Chiefs game this year, and they just look too much in control at all times whenever playing, even when they're down.
it should be both great championship games though
