Isco see you don't have to score to have fans that appreciate you, he has made himself irreplaceable. Everytime Carlo wants to sub someone its usually James. Isco always stays on the pitch. Hardwork pays off my man. He belongs on the left. Nobody can get the ball of him when he plays there

Nacho deserved goal for him. I dont think there is a single team who has a back up like him who can play everywhere and impress.

Coentrao shouldn't have been red carded. Both players challenged for the ball, none of them came in with studs but the impact altered the angles they ended up and Coentrao happened to have had his legs up to avoid that Barca b scrub, instead of both of them getting away Coentrao gets red carded and Canas gets nothing

Yh he did slip. Just meant that there were 3 instances. Another ref might have given it. Arbeloa had a trailing arm block a cross & I think khedira or Pepe had the ball strike them during a corner. None were serious though.

I disagree with the Coentrao bit. When I first saw that I thought red. He was way late. If he had his legs shut, would've been a yellow. Still dangerous play.

Isco, matching that ridiculous skill level of his with hard work. And his stamina has improved tremendously.

Bale scored a ridiculous free kick, provided a wonderful long ball to CR and yet I still find him to be poor. I sometimes wonder if I'm nitpicking but after that run, I know I wasn't. He has yet to get adjusted to the technical level of La Liga. Or Real Madrid. But he scored goals so...

@voice, thats what I thought first too but then they showed the angle from behind and you can see that Coentrao came in with a folded knee and a leg pointing out not towards Canas but away from him then they have that impact and their legs get tangled and all of a sudden its Coentrao in the wrong. Canas was as much at fault as Coentrao imo. Either yellow for both or nothing at all

Players like that are hard to come by. Which is why I don't understand why Carlo has to please Arbeloa by playing him instead of Nacho

i think carlo plays arbeloa just to give the guy confidence, carlo has a history of being relatively 'nice' to veterans....but arbeloa is definitely a traffic cone (to be fair to him, he seems alright at left back for some reason). perez won't sell nacho, the days of perez selling players for peanuts only to have those players become stars and champions league finalists or winners at other teams seems to be waning......he'll only sell the kid if he commands a huge transfer fee, and that fee could be used to buy a new toy....good free kick from bale, (to think people criticized di maria for his decision making)
