Not sure what the outrage is about, they changed him in the comics more than a year ago in the Nu52 reboot and I don't believe that the Convergence changes altered that. Figured that anger had run its course and burned itself out by now.

I have read that people don't like the post-Nu52 wally since they have turned him more into a delinquent and someone with an attitude problem who doesn't respect Barry. Unlike the previous version who grew up admiring Barry

If they go by comics, then Barry is the strongest of the Flashes, if only because the Speed Force that powers them comes from him. Otherwise Wally West generally had the most diversified and practiced use of his powers. Jay Garrick is the Alan Scott to Barry's Hal Jordan, but without the (at one time) immortality and absurd power boost.

I think RF still exist because Eddie's death created a paradox which was solved when the singularity opened and then Barry fixed it. So everything became normal with no paradoxes.

Really hope Wells return though. The first episode was like a prologue basically.
