Who should be starting on the other wing to Hazard?
Willian Vs Schurrle

I was curious to see who you guys wanted to start on the RW spot (assuming Hazard is on the LW and Oscar or Cesc are in the AM spot). Last season it was Willian, but after Schurrle's fantastic world cup, could he overtake Willian for that spot?

I also voted for the german. His scoring ability put him ahead of Willian imo whose end product is far from being good enough for a guy like Mou.

Well do we want a guy who runs around alot and puts in a right good shift™, or a player who actually does what said position requires?

The thing I don't get, Schurrle runs a lot as well, has he ever not tracked back and helped out in defence? No, he's a typical German, does what he is asked and isn't lazy.
So Willian doesn't add much defencively over Schurrle.

The less talented you are, the more likely you are to get into the team, under Mourinho (see: Ramires).

Depends on the game, when you're in need of a goal, Schurrle, but Willian is better when you just want to cruise.

Willian will play more-at least at the start of the season-as he's more suited to mous counter attacking style

I would have gone for Willian but Shurrle has proved to be more effective on the wings. The Brazilian played much better in the middle from what I've observed but that's a role he's not gonna be performing this up coming season

I think Willian is just as good on the wings, I just think his lack of an end product (despite marginally better pace and stamina) means Schurrle should start over him.

Unless he's playing striker yes i'd prefer it. There's a reason alot of top coaches use Schurrle as a super sub to blow away teams when they've been worked all game.

I really doubt Mourinho would use Shurrle as a sub (at least at the start of the campaign) after a successful world cup. It's really unfair on him as well to keep him benched just because he regularly makes an impact as a sub.
haha different play styles I guess. I like Salah for his pace on the counters. Plus his price goes to DL4 standards after a season or two

Did Schurrle even start one game at the WC? And He's far better at LM but we know that position will be taken by Hazard.
Don't get me wrong, I love Schurrle and his attitude but I just don't see him in our starting lineup atm. Only way I could see it is if we moved Hazard to 10, Oscar to RM and Schurrle played LM.
