Same. Romagnoli, De Sciglio and Zappacosta seem to have Ventura's trust 100%. Lets hope Rugani earns it too.

Given that Barzagli, Chiellini, Marchisio, Verratti and Candreva are out injured or being rested, this is a lineup I can fully support.

Except for Eder over Bernardeschi but he'll probably come on.

Love the call ups. Marchisio and Chiellini are the big absentees because of his fitness, which is fine. The squad looks flexible but I guess it shows the intent to continue with the 442. Meret (SPAL, maybe Juve next keeper), Spinazzola (Atalanta) and DAmbrosio join the azzurri.

Very balanced team with quality everywhere imo. The starting fullbacks and Belottis partner are the main questions.

What is rumored from the training sessions for the qualifier on Thursday. De Rossi and Bonucci are struggling to be 100% fit so they might be replaced by Gagliardini and Romagnoli respectively.

The U21 won their game in Poland 1-2

Gollini; Calabria (Locatelli 62), Ferrari, Biraschi, Barreca (Masina 73); Cataldi (Mandragora 61), Benassi, Pellegrini (Grassi 85); Berardi (Ricci 61), Cerri (Favilli 74), Chiesa (Di Francesco 46)

The team looks fantastic. They also had one goal ruled offside and Cerri missed a penalty.

The first goal was a cross from Berardi that Chiesa headed down for Pellegrini to volley. The second one was long range shot from Benassi.

Happy that Mandragora is playing again after 1 year of injuries.
