Seriously though, everyone playing the same would be awful. But I still agree with Mou playing the wrong way, simply because they have bought sooooo much talent, and the ideal style for these players would be something other than this.

Mou is getting crucified by every single media in France and that's been going on for a while now... they're sick and tired of his act.  I think his shelf life is reaching an end tbh.  Completely gets ripped apart here.

Several top managers, including Jacquet, have come out and said that nobody can expect a winger to track back all the way back to 3 meters from the goalpost...  it's a ridiculous expectation for anyone; even the best defensive wingers. The error is on the CB and fullback as that is far too close to blame anyone but them.

Yes , we all know how good Mourinho is , he keeps players ego in his pockets. He know how to use resources and what tactics to choose. No body is pointing about his inability to give results , he has proven himself in almost all the top leagues. But come on , why we still hate him

Its one of those impurities i was referring to in the thread about engineering the best footballing system in the world. Its not the complete cause but the concept applied by czy is acceptable.

nothing to do with losing the plot. Midst the storm the self critique will be lacking. All it takes is one simple trophy and he will find the way to winning again.

I dont expect him to be able to decipher the best football system though. He's really close yet so far but it will be fun to see how the second coming of mourinho will take shape through his present and recent past failures with chelsea and madrid.

He knows how to use resources? lol Chelsea is spending unbelievable money in every transfer window and he still parks the bus with all the money and talent that's given to him.

And Chelsea's problem are small teams but not because they are lacking a proper striker which all chelsea fans are whinning about all season long but because Mourinho's team is clueless when it comes to creating in attack and breaking down good organized defences, he relies on Hazard's individual quiality too much.

Just look at Arsenal, their first option striker is Giroud and they are "best vs the rest (small teams)"

Football went into ICU the day Mourinho started coaching.

Mourinho is a supervillain. He's the guy the heroes need to beat, and he's not making it easy for them.
In fact just recently he shattered the fairytale dreams of our pure-hearted young knights, the Liverpool kids. The hero needs to grow with the challenge.

If the Joker, instead of blowing up stuff and killing people, would have played neat little triangular combinations of passes, the Dark Knight would've been pretty boring.

That's why we should be thankful for Mourinho and his relentless negativity and douchery, and we should be alarmed that he's recently beginning to look like he's on his last legs.

Because after the movie is over with a happy ending, a stale and empty feeling will take hold of us.
