I agree. the guy has been an absolute beast this season. its ramos who should fear his place and even then ramos has started thus year very well so it will be very hard for varane to get game time this season

erm, his performance was horrible at 1st quarter of the season. seem only adjusted lately.

A couple of crosses here and there and corners should not be blamed on him. its only so much he can do. the fault should lie with the manager who doesn't improve our set piece defending, I mean marcelo was in there with the mix to head away balls until recently where he was moved to the posts

I think in the whole early season debacle only Pepe and Carvajal could put their heads up and be somewhat proud of their overall performances. Also the whole midfield issue didn't help either and having to play different formations with different players all the time.

I find it pretty funny that over half the clips were from 2+ years ago when he was at his peak.. and not 30.

In reality, I don't think he has been that great, but next to Ramos (who has been atrocious) he looks like a god.

So no, I don't think he's having his best moment in football.

actually, arbeloa been doing great. why not play him as cb (before varane get back), that would allow carvajal more playing time as well.

or is it impossible to bench player like ramos regardless of his form?
