Haven't looked forward to a transfer window so much in ages. The quality of the squad as a whole is at rock bottom, things can only get better.

Tbh i'd take Cerci, people have their doubts but equally, a big step-up could be what Cerci needs to finally explode.

As for selling Giovinco, I hope we do but i'd only consider selling him to Inter if they are ready to seriously over-pay for him. Because I can almost guarantee that Giovinco would come back to bite us in the ass with Inter. Gio has a solid record against us... somehow.




I'd personally be looking for a Giovinco + few million offer in exchange for Cerci

Torino not only make some cash, but get hold of a somewhat high profile attacker as opposed to them getting say 12Million but not being able to find anybody of note willing to make the transfer to their club.

If only we could get Cerci in the Winter. I'd say a 4-3-2-1 with Tevez left forward and Cerci right forward could work very well. Plus, Llorente would finally have a steady stream of crosses to work his magic on



Plus, when off the ball we would resemble more of a 4-5-1. Which finally solves the problem we have when up against teams who double up on the flanks. No more 2v1s against our 'wing-backs' forcing our CBs to come out of position and lend cover which tends to leave us exposed.

The Giovinco link has no truth to it and he isnt exactly a step in the right direction for us
