but that's not how it works does it? A club is not going to make a firm offer if they know that the player isnt interested (only united do that Laughing

). Madrid would sell Di Maria if they could, but Ancelotti likes him very much, and he is playing him accordingly. No one has been told to leave, which makes a huge difference. Ancelotti would gladly keep Di Maria.

I wonder where the reluctance was when we were treated with summer after summer of strengthening rivals.

Just say you don't have the ficckin team to get a deal done, instead of blaming the other team's for not wanting to sell. Not every team sells their talismanic players to other teams to balance their books.
