I personally think Franfurt's 2nd half bottling is overstated imo.

If you analyse their competitors, its was considerably unlucky for Eintracht in having to face Schalke's resurgence (despite outplaying them and defeating them in the last 4-5 games) and Freiburg's mind boggling consistency. Frankfurt's downfall was rather unlucky in the final stages in having to face teams like Bayern and highly motivated sides like Bremen, Duesseldorf, and Stuttgart as they were stuck in the middle.

Truth is that like Roma's Zeman, Veh played a style which was to costly on the player mentality and taxed them physically let alone psychologically. Eintracht is so unorthadox that such young minds couldn't handle the consistent flux of change and rigorous style of play, as to an extent the same thing happened to Hannover this year before the season even started. Fatigue played a large role in the 2nd half inconsistency due to their inexperienced depth and simply just not enough of it. Sad as I rather have had Eintracht competing in Europe rather than Schalke. Here's to Bayern defeating VFB so they can reach Europa League. This project is just too good to remain isolated within Bundesliga no matter how good the league is.

@Cascia looks like I misunderstood what you were trying to say, although I'd say there's no problem with Licht as a RWB as that his the position he has played most this season

@serielegacies surely Cavani cannot be the only standout performer of a Napoli side that made 2nd? (although i'm guilty of this too Laughing )

I didn't even think about what would happen if Stuttgart won. Totally slipped my mind. I just assumed we were safe. Damn. Will have to cheer for Bayern. Weird.

Other than Cavani, Campagnaro, Zuniga, Hamsik and Behrami have been outstanding in most of their performances this season. Was thinking of replacing Cavani because of his goal drought but opted for him anyway

Ah c'mon you've cheered well enough for Bayern within Europe, we think you can do one more!

Stuttgart winning would rob Osram of his treble going into imminent retirement. One would think Bayern has this game yet Stuttgart is amongst the Bundesliga's most unpredictable teams.

In the end, support for the Conservative Bavarians is support for Eintracht.

Fine by me.
