Re: Axis of Misery Elections (Venezuela, Egypt and Iran)
Imran Khan's party might get the most seats but he won't get the majority needed to form a government, there is probably gonna be a coalition between PML-N and other parties and Khan will be the opposition
90% of the rigging is happening in MQM area (Karachi), they are redoing some area and some have been postponed because the candidates were killed by Taliban...
MQM's leader is a fat asshole who is hundreds of charges against him, but he is happily sitting in London because he is British now, some of his own party members are ashamed of him. Whenever the guy gives his speeches (through Video Call or Phone Call) he starts singing some of the most embarrassing things... MQM is the party for Urdu speakers who emigrated from India to Karachi during partition

Didn't PML-N fail in their last 2 reigns ? Why are people still voting for them ?

They didn't fail, they are were kicked out never finished their terms, once by the President and other time by Musharraf when did his coup, plus whenever they are in power they have always done things. Nuclear Power, Motorway, Public free schools in some area, Metro System in my city (lahore) etc (Btw i support them, they are )
The reason people are voting for them is because a lot of people including me think Khan is an extremist at times and he people he is bringing in are those who jumped ships from others or new young people who are unknown( 70-80% of his party have never been elected) . PML-N is the lesser of the evil then PPP because even though they have corruption they get things done while PPP do nothing expect drain the money
I have nothing against Khan but cause his noble but sometimes his words are extreme, he promises are far fetched such as ending corruption in 90 days

Re: Axis of Misery Elections (Venezuela, Egypt and Iran)
Thanks for the explanation.
I think people in Pakistan primarily wants peace. Imran Khan's promise to get rid of corruption in 90 days is appealing and hence the reason for his recent rise in popularity among the people who are tired of terrorist attacks.
Can PML-N bring peace in the cities like Karachi btw ?

No one can bring Peace in Karachi, each town is run by gangs, the Taliban, MQM, ANP(Pashtun people), PPP and Balochi people.... Even today these Parties were killing each other openly during voting. There are many no go area for people there for example if your a Pastun and you end up in a Baloch area or Urdu speaking area you will mostly likely get killed
Only the army can do something but even that won't fix it.
Karachi is full of immigrants from other area of India (Pre 1947) & Afghanistan and Pakistanis from different ethnics Urdu speaking, Hindi speaking, Sindhi, Pashto, Baloch etc, Karachi's population is close to 25mil and city can't handle it
PML-N is an Punjabi party, they barely get anything in the province of Sindh and Karachi is a no go area for them

Re: Axis of Misery Elections (Venezuela, Egypt and Iran)
MQM's leader (who just won alot of seat in Karachi) just threatened to kill protesters in Karachi who are protesting because of widespread rigging by MQM, he has threatened to make Karachi a separate country.... Too bad one can do anything about it because he is safe in England.

Mashaei's chance of getting the approval from Guardian Council is close to zero due to his political views.

Re: Axis of Misery Elections (Venezuela, Egypt and Iran)
He is a friend of Hashemi and Khatami. he is one of Ahmadinejad's biggest critics. he likes to have relation's with west and in one word he is the opposite of Ahmadinejad.
People were tired of Ahmadinejad's government so they voted the one who is opposite of him.
and lol at West governments who said Iranian elections is rigged and Jalili will become president.

Did he say anything on what he will do with the nuclear technology testing and all?
Hopefully relations improve between Iran and the West.

Not yet. the nuclear problem and talking to 5+1 is complicated and they can't say things loudly in the public.
