You are worrying we havent yet signed our priorities only a week into the window . Seriously ?

A simple fact is also that United generate currently about £ 100m more revenue each year than we do. We cannot approach our spending from the point of view that we must equal what others spend.

I'm not worrying about signing the right players, I like that we got Henderson, I'm just voicing my opinion that I think - in our current position both player quality and finances wise - it's more important to strenghten our First XI than our bench.

We approach our spending based on what we need to spend to improve both first team and squad . No point in concerning spending 16 million on a squad player if we also have money to spend on first team players . They are not mutually exclusive .

Is there any credibility in the rumours to Milan ? Even if u bought him i would expect to be a squad player TBH .

Well there has been no official statement from any credible source from Milan to declare interest but Aquilani's agent has mentioned our club on more than one occasion...

With out ageing midfield, I don't think we could afford to keep him on the bench...

wtf!
Juve just made permanent 4 loan deals of players they had in their teams
(Matri for 13.9mil, Motta for 3.35mil, Quagliarela fr 9.4mil and Pepe for 6.7mil)

but ofc, still nothing about the Aqua loan deal whereas this one had its deadline on last 15th May.

so they have the money for the average players that are Pepe, Quagliarela etc..., but not for Aqua??

what a joke.

At no point it looked like it's happening, Juve signing AA permanently. A few random reports which died down. Hopefully there will be solid interest from other (Italian) clubs.

Matri and Quagliarela are more important than Aquilani and Motta and Pepe doesnt cost as much as Aquilani. So not really surprising.

We are going to play Total football next season. All the outfield players will be midfielders.

Henderson------Gerrard--------Adam--------Spearing

Meireles------Aquilani-------Lucas------Suso

Maxi------Shelvy

We just need to find another midfielder play instead of Reina.

Well none of them i mentioned are wingers so it leaves 3 midfield positions for 9 players.Either way that post was light hearted.

Aquilani agent has confirmed he is returning to Liverpool for pre-season training.

Henderson and Maxi are both wingers. They may claim they like to be in the centre, but they are infact wingers.

But, fair enough. Razz

Hopefuly AA stays, Raul stays, and Adam stays away from LFC. Neutral

Gerrard, Meireles, Lucas, AA, Shelvey and Spearing is enough for the middle. If needed, Henderson can play there.

BBC [Phil Mcnulty] twitted yesterday that we are going to hold talks with Blackpool today. So i am afraid we will sign Adam before this weekend.BBC are usually spot on.

Well i feel that Adam & Downing are done deals . .no arguing those its just a matter of time now . .now its time we look into who needs to go . .as much as i liked Aqua's little spell i believe he ain't a fit for our team. .

@ynwa: don't -rep me for that Razz . . :lol!:

Adam is someone i believe who has the potential to be a very passionate player as he was for Blackpool . . now i sort of have the feeling he is going to brilliant with us. .

now for outbounds i seriously think Aqua needs to be sold off soon. .Shelvey should go out on loan . .Poulsen should be shown THE FINGER n kicked out . .Cole needs to escorted out of the premises pirat
