Lemina-Imbula... that's good too. Romao can back this up as well and now you have Cheyrou.

And the Bielsa-Lebrune feud has spilled into the public and in spectacular fashion... Lebrune is frakked btw.

Continuing with the drama... Bielsa has publicly said he didn't want Doria and now he's left him off the squad for this weekend's game Poor kid btw. He's jumped right into the middle of the feud and he's basically not going to play regardless of how good he is.

Dear me - some clubs really have to be pitied when they have such silly fights that mess up the workings of their squads. (We have some candidates like that in the Bundesliga (and below), too. -_-

Squad is fine actually.  OM is playing really well right now and none of the active 17-18 players are involved in the feud.... it's Bielsa, the OM president (who is a douche; i hate him) and poor Doria who has never played a second for OM.

Not worried about the pitch.  Usually, the managers fail at OM because the president undermines him.  Bielsa is making sure that the players know who is boss as long as he's around. Lebrune is either going to have to concede to Bielsa's authority or fire him... he can't fire him because the fans would kill him... literally. Sadly, he's had 50 death threats over the past week, including his wife and children. Marseille is a bit crazy like that.

Well, if at least the squad functions properly, you are lucky. The HSV last season was a mess due to the bigwigs' ineptitude and it showed in the league table.

For now Lebrune just has to back off. Let Bielsa do his thing. I hope he does... and then things will be fine. It becomes a battle of the egos, then it's going to be another shat season.

Love watching Thauvin. Will flourish under Bielsa. Better talent than the likes of Griezmann and Grenier. French call up not far if he keeps up.

Thauvin is like Cabella... great technically. But really, really needs to muscle up. A stiff wind pushes him off the ball. Great talent though. Hope he works on his strength.

5-0 win away at Reims

First place after 7 games with 16 points, 19 GF and 6 GA ...  and that's after losing 1-0 in the season opener and drawing 1-1 in the 2nd game.  So in the last 5 games, we've scored 18 and given up 4.

Relentless football.  High pressure, high activity, always attacking...  no let downs.  We're just beating opponents into submission right now.

Hmm...hope they have the resources/depth to keep it up for reminder of the season. OM is my favorite club in France and I would love to see them return to their glory days.

The owner wants out (thankfully)... but she won't get the price she wants because Labrune ran the club into the ground. In order to make ends meet, we're selling everyone
