I could be wrong but right now Di Maria makes sense

Di maria seems like the only answer but to me it has to be the least apt criticism you can throw at him. There are many players who cruise the insignificant games...Di Maria isn't one of them.

Mou is ridiculous. Why on earth would a coach of a big club as Real Madrid come out and publicly blame his own players for performances? These are things that must be solved in the dressing room not media.

But looking at it from a different view I came to this conclusion.


Ozil this season hasn't been top level. Well at least on a consistent basis and we've all taken note of that. Especially with Modric here now and people questioning who should start. It's been only up and till recently that we are seeing a better Ozil who has been playing A LOT better than earlier on this season.


Now it wouldn't make sense to me to believe that Ozil is the one Mourinho is speaking about. Because why would Ozil, a player who needs to prove himself, not take the opportunity of doing so? Hell even kaka for that matter.

Which is why I also don't think it's Benzema. He was hurt and that's that.

Now Di Maria has been recently put into question with some fans including myself demand he go to the bench for other players (I.e Callejon)

Now could this have upset the once indisputable starter on the RW? Maybe.
Did he maybe think playing in a cup match on a cold rainy night against celta Vigo was going to change all that? Probably not.

It's not as though Mourinho is the first manager to use such a motivation technique. It's effective enough in the right circumstances.

Ummm there have been plenty of times managers have blamed performances of players. Wenger did it in the past week.

Sounds more like you want to hate on Mou because there's actually been a couple of times when Mou accepted the blame when it was clearly the fault of players performances.

I do not hate on Mou. As great of a manager he is, I just dislike him. In my opinion putting that pressure in the most pressured group of players in the world is wrong. I doubt it would be effective in Real Madrid.

And besides, he's got one of the most talented group of players in the world, what's there to bitch about on media?

I certainly don't have the time to watch Madrid week in and out, but I did watch them in the CL. Dortmund were much better.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with criticizing the players. As a matter of fact they deserve to be criticized, but not in the media, not like that.

Instead of working and figuring out the problem together WITH his players, why on earth would you want him to go and bitch on the media like he always does?

I have never liked di magia, always wasteful, he has been the biggest destroyer of our overall play. I just bared with him.

Di Maria is either brilliant or complete shite... he can't just have a normal game lol. First year, he was mostly briliiant. Last year, he as 60% brilliant and 40% shite (benefit of the doubt since he was injured). This year, he's been 75% shite.

I mean the dude keeps passing it to the other team without pressure! It's the most frustrating thing in the world to watch.

With CR7 being a striker (doesn't pass much for a winger) and Marcelo out, both Ozil and Di Maria have to be on or else we have zero transition from defense to offense. Because they've both been bad, Benzema is dezoning to help (hence the 11 assists)... but that means CR7 is alone against the CBs.

When all your midfield linkup and creative players are either off form or injured, it messes up your team lol.

There's nothing wrong with our defense. Same as last year. We just can't get a consistent effort from Ozil or Di Maria. Ozil seems to be catching some form the last 2 games... so here's to hoping.

Di Maria deserves to be ostracized here. He's been atrocious.
