I'm so sorry guys for this it was privilage to face you. I hope to see you again next year but this time in final against us. Tbh if Juve was offered to win ucl last season and to get knocked out this one I would accepted it. I am sorry again I wanted you guys to go trough with us. All the best much luck and see ya next year

I don't think most of us are as upset as most would think. The realistic supporters knew we had zero chance of winning this competition this year anyway, and although it's disappointing and slightly embarrassing to go out in the first round of the damn thing, it's not the end of the world.

Anyways, cheers for the kinds words. It'll be interesting to see how far you lot can go in the competition. You were being tipped as dark horses from the beginning, and if you keep your recent performances up, there's no reason to think you couldn't go on quite a run into the latter stages. At least this year all of us on here at least will be able to watch and enjoy it without all the stress and nerves this time 'round Razz

What is frustrating is that if the CL used a league style for and against rather then the head to head style we wouldve come second on goal difference (the same happened in uniteds group too)

Sorry you guys didn't qualify, it would have been
great to see you in the next round, but one thing
made me confused, how did chelsea not qualify
but Shakhtar did eventhough they both have the
same points but chelsea have more goals, can someone
please explain..

Didn't realise how many Chelsea fans there are on this forum until I ventured onto this section.. Shocked

anyways, letting that 2 goal lead v Juve in the opener was what turned out to be the deciding factor. Infact, this Chelsea CL campaign reminded me of United's horror show last season in the CL.....we were our own worst enemy.

Precisely. Had Chelsea held onto that lead, we'd have been through as group winners right now.
