Yeh both of them were rumoured to be joining Zaragoza but so far Mateos has said he might be joining them.

He certainly got on well with Mou and the team, but no doubt the wages were a big plus. Also, the chance just to play for us had to be an incentive.

that was my point. if he does sign a contract with us for next season, i wouldnt be surprised to see a bit of a pay cut.

well I respect the fact that adelbayor loves this team, willing to accept the 3rd striker role and is willing to take a paycut.

Adebayor did well here but unfortunately due to the fact he is unable to play football with his feet I would gladly take Morata for a much cheaper salary

as crazy as playing him as an inverted RB sounds, it's the only reason i can see us buying him for.

the idea that we will somehow have him rotate with marcelo and di maria is silly, he isnt worth the effort for such purpose.

Things are really dragging along this year... and Madrid itself has been completely quiet. All the news is coming from the players and the clubs whose players we're targeting.

There's not a pip from Madrid for or against any purchases or sales. Just very generic politically correct statements. Same goes with Madrid players.

If this is all posturing, i must admit that i'm impressed.
