Your opinion on voting?

Just wanted to know how highly you guys value voting . I personaly see think its a waste of time.Its always between bad and worse.Another thing , u see the voters out there most are really uneducated and close minded.I mean people are generally stupid(not the people in GL ofcourse Laughing

I rate it highly. It gives you the power to choose who runs your country. I recently voted in my country's first elections in 42 years, and I felt absolutely great about it.

Voting is only as good as the choices one can vote for. You can't blame the system for only bad choices being available. .

This. If elections are fair and free, they matter, and they change stuff. Corruption doesn't mean democracy is bad, and the system is easy to f*ck up, but it does work better than anything else, and given time, most people will be represented to at least some degree.

voting isn't as good as the choices, it's as good as the voters, which means in most cases voting is *bleep* useless because there's just so many idiots with zero understanding of... well, anything, really, whose vote counts for just as much as the vote of someone with, say, a medicine or economics degree

I don't agree that a person with a college degree will know what is good for himself more than a person without a college degree.

And when people's choices are aggregated, it is usually the best outcome when you think about the alternatives. This has been my experience in India and from what i have seen in some countries across the world.
