Kjaer , The man of the match

I've noticed Kjaer is a decent defender and he just doesn't suit possession play

Kjaer doesn't work well in a high line either. And I do agree that possession doesn't suit him as well which is rather strange considering he's a ball-playing CB and should be far more comfortable on the ball than he's looked this season. This ultimately not the system for him though.

Put him in a setup similar to what he was used in Palermo and he'll thrive.

Had Montella stayed and we still got Kjaer, we'd be praising him as one of the best CBs in Serie A. Hell, if we'd gotten Ancelotti...same result.

it might look absurd but personally i think those kinda defenders can be successful at Tiki-taka are those who posses some qualities of a defencive midfielder and i'm looking at Mascherano or De rossi or even busquets , because it needs something more than just being a good tackler and dominating the air and you need to able to read the game just like a midfielder .

If i were Luis Enrique i would have done something about Corners , the corners weren't that great and we wasted them while we desperately needed a goal

Tell me about it . We have a lot of corners but fail to make them work.

The only time they work is when Juan is in the box or Vidal is marking the near post.
