Are you sure there's no 70% min speed in your contract as it's just above 175mbps? I think we have that kind of law. Although I've never had any that kind of problems in my current, as I've fiber optic and live very close to the main server.

i also have fiber connection subscribed at my home 2G. BUT my stupid laptop can only support upto 100mbps throughput. besides no one will EVER get max just because they signed up for 100mbps lets say... lot of factors involved to why but anyway..

i can even subscribe for 10G in my area XD but again the 10G LAN cards are hella expensive let alone 1G... and i dont have cat6 medium either.

what i am doing atm is using usb 3.0 hub which has 1G ethernet port and connect em to my USB 3.0 hence exceeding more than what my LAN port can offer (100mbps)

4k videos, downloads, streaming is of no issue whatsoever ; i dont usually do speed test because you gets variants and depends on server (hence latency), packets received, plus i tend to use VPN but max i have got is over 700mbps for dwn ; 300 + for upload ... which i never use XD lol

Yeah its plenty fast. Couldve gone for up to 900mb but I figure who even needs that much? Maybe next time when I'll be extending the contract
