He is more than ok.

I think the only thing is how he does with transfers and dealing with Youth.

his man-managing skills seem excellent as everyone at the club loves him.

Chelsea to give RDM one year contract.

Another site with a source saying it.

Becoming more and more likely with each report (I hope).

Hurry up and give him the Job Roman!

Harry Harris is a bloody awful journalist! He constantly maks up bollocks and makes it sound so confident!

He came out with:

Aguero to Chelsea confirmed!
Torres to City confirmed!
Neymar to Madrid confirmed!
Ronaldinho to Blackburn confirmed!
etc

If its coming from Harry Harris, then we might as well assume RDM is not getting the job. Laughing

One year for RDm is , i feel, Ridiculous.
it is as if he is on trial. this is gruesome.
where is compassion from Stamford Bridge.

I believe one year contracts are the way to go at the bridge, we can always re-sign them and if they do poorly we don't have to. Very simple and we lose less money.

Meh....he would bottle the job and get the sack in 6 months like AVB. I'm not sold on "new top tier" coaches anymore. I'd rather stick with RDM atm. :coffee:

If we go such a away, in ten years we will have Roman Abrahamovic himself as a Manager. Laughing

He didn't reject us, he rejected Roman. The majority of fans I've spoken to didn't want him anyway.
It was really only the big man himself dreaming of Pep coming here and somehow magically creating a Barcelona 2.0, which is never gonna be a reality.

Exactly. Although the lack of any clear outside targets bodes well for Robbie's chances I'd say. Never can I remember it ever being this quiet when we're looking for a new coach. There have always been overt candidates (like last year, it was mainly Hiddink, AVB to an extent, and some La Liga coach whom I can't remember now, among others). That's not the case at all this time.

I never understood why anyone would think RDM would have to rebuild the team, because Roman will just buy everyone under the sun (like the massives) and just tell him to make it work.
