I think the 90 minutes is in reference to Alexis international friendly with Chile where he played 90 minutes.

It's a saying used mostly by Argentinians and Spaniards. Maybe they can tell you

It's just a cursing expression. The literal translation is "my mother's pu$$y" but the meaning might as well be "damn it" in this context. In another context it might be an insult "la concha de tu hermana/madre" (your sister's/mother's pu$$y).

Not sure what the pa'mi' is about, probably catalan.

Kick wrote:Why join Chelsea? Because Roman is going to spend money in the summer, Pep could mould the squad to what he wants. Because he would most likely get a pay rise. Because it's a new Challenge and if Pep has any ambition he would want to conquer the Challenge. Because he could be getting bored of Barca (have you ever asked him personally?) because it would prove Pep is a decent manager and if he succeeds that would be good evidence.

There are many reasons, honestly, I think the next manager will have a better chance than AVB because thy will have more cash to spend. If we go down from here Roman is going to spend more and more to keep us up.

Mould the squad? Maybe somewhat with today's prizes. But ok. Pay rise? From what I've heard, he gets carte blanche every year. If that's true, nothing is a pay rise. Lastly, regarding the challenge part, I think he'd rather take a challenge in the Italian league considering his past.

La concha de tu madre it's never said in catalonia. I understand that Alexis was complaining about his injury saying "La concha...", Pep heard it and said that:

"My mother's pussy to me Alexis, My mother's pussy to me!! (meaning it's his problem now) 90 minutes with Chile between week!! Use your head!!".

He was obviously pissed that he played the full match with Chile being a friendly instead of asking to play less, which probably was Barça staff instructions.

Guardiola has informed some players he will continue another season. It could be his last. Official announcement expected next week. [sport]

Yeah, can't see him continuing much longer than 5-6 years. I just hope he leaves on the high-spot end. If he wins a second CL, I don't think I can ask much more of him.

Pep from press conference:

Guardiola on the subject COPE "It would have been nice to acknowledge on their part, that they had lied before and not when we went to court. Presenter who lied still there.""

Guardiola: "If Madrid is first is because it is better and because we have failed greatly., Period"

Guardiola : "Let everybody know: We have gained so much because we are better than others."

Guardiola: "In Spain the image of the club has been very bad. We have been accused of everything. Godall, Rosell, Florentino, everyone knows that we won because we were better than others."

Guardiola : Club knows good relation is important. Madrid had good relations with federation and referee committee since the beginning of everything."

Guardiola : "Probably for the next season we will have to sign new players."

Guardiola : "If we can make a team with these players and continue to compete in Europe , it is a great achievement for us."

Guardiola : "Messi is unique and great . Many can score goals but it is the spirit and love for the game that matters most."

Guardiola : " 10 point gap is big and the rivals are playing tough football. Referring in Spain is also very difficult. "

Guardiola: "Puyol has trained well, but is not yet fully fit. He'll travel, but we'll see tomorrow if he can play."
Guardiola: "Deulofeu? He has to go through the process. He has the recent examples of Cuenca and Tello he can follow."
Guardiola: "Cantona saying Catalonia would win World Cup? I don't know, we're not allowed to play now."
Guardiola: "Constant referee talk? It's 4 years now, more since Madrid's current coach is in charge. Now it's a bit less, we're not first."
Guardiola: "Seems Mourinho is attacking me without saying my name. Let's see if he next time gives my name."
Guardiola: "Barcelona know good relations are important. Madrid has had them during their whole history, in the federation, the committees."
Guardiola: "Mourinho suggesting I'm just like him? We both want to win, but use a different style. If I'm like him, I'll have to change."
Guardiola: "Mou is talking, I'm talking but pictures speaks for themselves."
Guardiola: "Transfer rumours? Probably we'll have to sign new players this year, but it's good homegrown players are the core of this team."
Guardiola: "Madrid press accuses us of everything, of course this damages the image of the club. At least our game is admired worldwide."

Guardiola wrote:"We dominated AC Milan."
No you didn't. Possession is not domination. If anything Milan had more clear-cut chances. Not to mention Milan improved in the second half.
Guardiola wrote:We had 17 shots.
Of which 12 of them were off target. And Iniesta trying those hit and hope shots out of desperation are not considered dangerous.
Guardiola wrote:We played with 9 players from our youth team.
Is that an excuse or what?
Guardiola wrote:Pitch was bad.
It was bad for both teams. Get over it.

Can't I simply address the fact that Guardiola was making excuses in this thread? I expect some clarifications from a moderator because I haven't done anything contrary to the forum rules post by RedOranje.

Dude, what do you want?

Such a post is clearly looking for trouble.

Everything Pep said was normal, only someone like yourself would look to dig something out of it.

Take this crap to the general section.

Joan Gaspart (ex-president): "Guardiola has to stay now. He has the moral obligation to continue." [com radio]

Guardiola is having lunch with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell at the latter's home to discuss his future. #fcblive [rkb]

I think Pep will stay. If we didn't lose UCL, I think he would leave, but now after losing two big titles, he will stay and rebuild this side. 1 more season for Pep IMO.
