Well half of his points he argues economically - so I get why all of the City team are in there - they just earn too damn much.

And I even get why Gomez is in there, if you take Castrol seriously the poor guy is from Rednecksville in the middle of nowhere, of course he thinks that Castrol rating = mainstream hype, so his argument is valid. Of course Mario Gomez is not the 2nd best player in the world.

But he begins to look silly once you're connected with the mainstream opinion of football fans everywhere, where Gomez, for example, certainly isn't overrated, neither is Benzema, just because they both got great Castrol ratings. But come on, criticizing players like Barry and Milner because their performance just doesn't measure up to their paychecks is completely valid.

You guys are surprised that an American doesn't know anythIng about football! These people are hopeless when it comes to out beloved sport! Since I got moved here for work I can't have a decent football conversation with them! It's alway either baseball or American football, and then they will say no I don't watch the sissy sport! It's pointless!!

don't worry I was born in Budapest and moved here when I was 4, lived here my whole life. I know exactly how you feel and how frustrating it is. In California where I live it is not as bad as the other states I would imagine, but still sucks. People are too ignorant about it and aren't exposed to the game growing up here.
