It will also be Derby Week or Rodada do Clasicos. The final of match week will pit all the teams against their fiercest rivals so that noone loses on purpose, out of spite, or hand another team the trophy.

Corinthians x Palmeiras and Vasco x Flamengo will headline this week since if Corinthians wins they will be crowned Champions and if they lose and Vasco win, Vasco will be crowned champions. :afro:

Then imo, you have the most intriguing rivalry/game of the night. Cruzeiro x Atletico Mineiro, which will decide whether or not a storied team with a rich tradition like Cruzeiro relegate or not. Hopefully for Biggie's sake, they don't relegate. Would hate to see a Big team go down.

If Atletico Mineiro do indeed relegate you, that will probably be the highlight of their club's recent history.

But look on the bright side, less traveling next season, you'll be with the likes of America Mineiro, Ipatinga and Boa, all from Minas de Gerais.

But for all intensive purposes, lets hope Cruzeiro don't relegate... Would suck to see them go down being that they are a big club and hold a lot of weight within Brazil and MG.

Rumor is the higher futebol authorities of Brasileirao Serie A told O Galo to lose on purpose to save Cruzeiro's status as a Serie A team...
