we buy back players all the time.. but unfortunately they arent good enough to break back into the starting xi so we typically sell them again.

examples: granero, negredo, javi garcia

2 year buy back for carvajal was the right call, but bayer leverkusen was the wrong team, they have a young established RB already so he probably wont play much.. should have gone to soem la liga team.

There is a positional need and we sell ...but we send Morata up to fight fir minutes with a plethora of world class attackers, well done .

I'm surprised we didn't sign Joao Perreira or Maicon while were on it.

Don't even care who comes in for the first team now , just hope Castilla get a good replacement so they can compete for Segunda.

Jesus how much Mou pisses me off

we genuinely need a RB and the defence is where players get most of their times with all the suspensions and injuries etc, yet he thinks its a good idea to sell our jewel to some other team even though Arbeloa is running on borrowed energy

we have an overload of strikers yet its ok for Morata to be promoted and compete for one spot against two established strikers :facepalm:

is it confirmed or just rumours??? how do we know whether he will excel there anyways??? M. Alonso was very good for us then we sold him on a buy-back and now he is rotting in the premiership, we sold Sarabia he is rotting on Getafe's bench and we sold Rodrigo who is refusing to come back

I think you're all overreacting, Madrid has bought back some players, Granero, De la Red, Callejon easily come to mind. He's 20 and mature enough to play in any league, I'm sure Mourinho has already gotten a deal to bring in a new right back.

but you have to remember the players they had to compete with if they were to get promoted, these guys were sold in a time when we had Zidane/Beckham/Baptista/Van Gol etc playing for us and came back when these retired or some of these left so that they could have a better chance of competing for the spot

But with Carvajal its completely different, we only have one RB who Carvajal could easily displace with one performance and MOURINHO IS LOOKING IN THE MARKET FOR A FCKING RIGHT BACK WHEN THERE IS ONE UNDER OUR NOSE

the one differentiating factor all our Castilla have is that they ooze class and are very loyal to their club and I'm proud our cantera have developed those sort of values at the club....

We promoted Morata for nothing, if we let Joselu leave, then It would confirm my assumption that the brass is not only ambivalent to our youth team success or the real talent we have, but are actively seeking to destroy it for some reason.

Meh. Althought this transfer hasnt been confirmed yet, now that I have gotten over the original anger, I see that it is inevitable. Mou does not trust our youth, that much is clear. Therefore, he wants to bring in a new RB. Cervajal is too good to spend another two years in Castilla,so he must be sold, whether it is to Neverkusen or Getafe or whoever.

I just wish that for once we had faith in our youngsters. This was THE perfect opportunity to show that things have changed. They havent. Its not like in Arbeloa, Coentrao and Ramos we wouldnt have experienced coverage for that position. Oh well.

I knew this would happen because otherwise he would have gotten more chances last season. One thing I don't understand is why let Isla go to Juve if we were never going to promote Carvajal. Only hope now is that we sign Maicon for 1-2 season and buy Carvajal back then after he has got more experience.

isla has a very sever injury and he has still not recovered.. he may never regain his pace. he might have this niggling injury the rest of his career. the isla door is shut

maicon is going to chelsea

we will probably end up with piszczek who is very good, probably the best RB on the market
