FFS Damato is shit. No personality at all, not good enough to ref a big game.

Totally agreed, Mike...He was awful truly....to both teams.

That red card on Boateng after he came off injuried was pathetic...not to mention the multitude of fouls he let van Bommel get away with.

I think kicking out Allegri was worse than Boateng, because for the latter I think it was Banti (the 4th official) who gave the order to send him off. And in the second half, there were 5 substitutions, which automatically means 2 and a half minutes of extra time. Add on the injuries, the sending offs and all that time wasting which pretty much added up to another 3 minutes, there should've been at least 5 and a half minutes added on, yet he whistled barely after 4. I know it's just one minute, but that's enough to find a goal no matter what the situation is.

But two goals conceded off set pieces, 3 in two games. If we could settle that it would already be a big help. On that 3rd goal, we had 6 or 7 players defending in our box, yet no one marking Ibra. I understand that we tried to advance to put him offside, but then we dropped back. It made no sense.

Van bommel always gets away with that, he is that type of player who is low on skills, lack of technical ability and zero pace. All he does is his sideways passing and bad tackling, last year he got brighi inj..

All goals headers :coffee:

By the way, Mike I don't know if you noticed, towards the end... It was funny how De Rossi shuved Aquilani.

Yeah DDR did give him a little push. Bit of scrumming between the two, but they'll be fine though. Still good friends I bet.

Came on as a sub. Did well, though our tactics became a bit of a mess after he came on for Gago. Always a danger on the ball, except at one point he just seemed confused and ran the ball out of play, wasting a good chance. He basically set up our second goal; dribbled through a number of players, getting a lucky bounce in the process, took a shot which Abbiati saved and Bojan put in the loose ball. A relatively good performance considering he was up against the Italian champions, I think he should definitely get the start next match. Can't wait to see Lamela, Totti and Osvaldo together, they would complement each other perfectly.
