Juan was ok in the first half but Palermo had too many chances. like you mentioned in your other post, they shot right at Stek a lot but if they didnt it could have been disastrous.

And yea Cassetti did well

Juan welcome back!! solid performance by him,so now i think there would be no need to play a left back at cb unless suspensions and/or injuries..

Ddr was commandable enough in the midfield and he also assisted for the goal. Lamela was magical, we have got ourselves a top top quality player. But still what worries me is the lack of goals, i think we had the players to put the game beyond doubt but it never happned.

I was lucky enough to get to watch the milan game, milan was down 3-0 at half time but came back to win 3-4. We need to put in a much better performance if we are to get anything from the game.

Cassetti did well? He was exposed many times, when he got forward, he never got back in time..

Id play DDR, Pjanic and Gago in center..would be nice.

We still try to keep the ball all the times, but it fails mostly with a passing error..

Which is normal.

For the match against Milan (next Saturday, in two match days), I would like to see Lamela Totti and Osvaldo. I think that front line would really work well together. Then if we are in need, we could throw in Bojan who reminds me more and more of Montella; in both games where he came in as a substitute, he completely lit up the game.

Im saying that most of our passing errors are made because of the crappy players we have..Pizarro is not the man he used to be, Gago is anoymous, we need someone to step up in creative duties (in midfield) if Pjanic doesnt play.

Calling Gago anonymous is a little harsh. He was merely overshadowed by De Rossi.

Remove Osvaldo, and put Borini or Bojan, more interesting to see how they would mix.

Italian media is really hyping the hell out of him. Corriere della Sera dedicated an entire page to him titled "A Legend is Born". No pressure guys, Rolling Eyes

Happy with the 3 points but we were lucky to win this Palermo deserved a draw if not a a win. We started of well but then went back into our shell after the first 15 minutes or so we can't afford to keep doing this.Lamela what a way to make your debut cracking goal. DDR MOTM though where the hell would we be with out him it's like we have 2 midfielders in 1 with this guy, total beast .Stek deserves a mention as well ,saved our asses could've easily been a draw or a loss if it was not for him, happy as well for him that he kept a clean sheet..

Genoa on Wednesday I hate to say but I don't see us taking anything away from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris .Not if we play like that anyways...

Nah man, Osvaldo has been our only consistent scorer. No matter what, he has to start. Sure, talent-wise, Bojan is better, bu you can't take off a guy who's been scoring like he has.
