Honestly, no doubting Pelé's skill, but this constant paranoia that someone is going to be better than he was is really getting redundant.

Pelé, we get it. I do not think Messi was as good or will be as good as you were, but seriously, you make yourself out to seem like you have a reason to defend yourself.

Not to menton much of your acclaimed thousand goals are conveniently not on any media platform, for the most part.

Seems maradona became boring for him he found new target. Pele already compares himself to messi and defends like a kid.
Pele is only popular for his 3 world cups (which is he was flop in 2 of them) and 1000 goals. otherwise 30% players of today are better than him
